Occupation: I was working in machining at Trinity Industries until the NAFTA thing shut them down in the late 90's and then danged if it didn't happen again in 02. Right now, I have a small landscaping business and it's been feast or famine for a little while but I keep looking for that umbrella like I once had.
Special Interests:  I have been playing guitar since '78 and I've been spotted at Westville Pub and the Town Pump a few times ripping through some juke joint jumpin' blues tunes.  After my divorce, the guitar became an oasis for me but lately I've gathered up enough courage to tackle building my own tube amp. I also help my friend work on his hot rod sometimes tig welding and such.
Significant Events: I had been working on Badin Lake near Albemarle N.C. helping a fellow named Roy Lee Earnhardt (yes, Dale's cousin) build boat slips, piers and sundecks when we went to town for more material to build with. Somehow I wound up in Franklin's Tool and Die shop right next door. Some guy was running an O.D. grinder and I was so fascinated that I got a machine operator's degree within the next year and finished in the top five in my class. I hung around Albemarle until about 1980 and moved home and was over at the Rec Park later that year when I first saw my ex diving off the wall into the water under the bridge and was instantly smitten. Anyhow, 24 years later my daughters have kids of their own Starla,4; Daniel,5; Kansas,3; Gavin,2; and Noah,1.

Other:  I sure am looking forward to seeing everyone again and thank God for the internet, huh? Whoever is responsible for this great website, kudos to ya. I was going to get my Mom a pizza back in early June and lo and behold, there was Sammy Cannon and told me about this reunion thing. Then Steve Hall called and I sure was glad to get in touch with someone from back then. My computer quit working and I'm in the process of replacing it, but anyone is welcome to call to say Hi or whatever. Hey guys, did we have some of the prettiest girls in our class or what?
